Maybe its me, or maybe it's growing up. But there's a certain point in life where you realise what your true priorities are and where your importances SHOULD lay.
And as I hit the big two one, I realise this is just the beginning of a new chapter. A new chapter to a very long path of adult life. I am no longer a teenager, no longer a kid. No longer have an excuse to stuff things up without any care of the world. I need to behave, think and deal with things like an mature adult.
Life is not about parties and alcohol, as I realise within time that those things only gets you so far. Life isn't about how many friends you have or how many parties you get invited to. Nor is it about how many people you bump into at the clubs. It's about making something out of yourself, using the talents and gifts that God gave you and contribute back into the world.
Honestly speaking, no body knows how long they have to live their life. And whatever time has been wasted, it can never be gained back. I no longer want to waste time, I've already wasted enough.
I have goals, I have places I want to go. I have things that I want to achieve.
If I could go back in time, I know that I would've done things SO differently.
On another note, Defqon was 2 weekends ago & I still haven't written much about it.
What can I say ? IT WAS AWESOME! :) But Henry kept saying last years was better, I wouldn't know since I didn't go last year. But nevertheless, it was worth paying $140 for it. HARHARHAR.
