At the moment I am sitting at a internet Cafe in the city just taking a " me-day ". It's nice to have a day like this once in a while. Woke up today, did some stuff at home and then went to the city to buy some food and gave my boyfriend a not so surprise visit at his work during his break, where I bought him croquettes to munch on, cos he loves his croquettes :)
Went to Kinokuniya to look for a present for Henry's mum for Mothers' day, but ended up buying 2 recipe books about Macaroons for ourselves instead. Henry promised me that he will make macaroons for me one day, SOON. Hopefully that day will be really really really soon. * fingers crossed*
I had a very deep and meaningful conversation with a male friend of mine the other night, just about all these random stuff - about why girls' likes to wear their clubbing dresses so short to a point where you can see their panties OR even worse, half their asses, and they think its hot/ sexy? I don't know about you, but I think that's more of trashy than sexy. I know there's that saying, " If you've got it, flaunt it. " Yeah, no problem, but since when does flaunting your "assets" included making yourself look like a trashy whore ? (excuse me language, but I seriously cannot think of a better word to describe it )
And also girls who can't drink but still drink until they are totally wasted, possibly passed out on the streets. Thats not cool, its trashy. It's embarassing for you, embarassing for your friends, you might not realise it, but when you are walking around all drunk, people dont think you are cool, people think you are weird.
Also why do they get angry when people call them "sluts", "whores" etc etc? When you think about it, its kindov hard not to assume such things if thats how you are portraying yourself to be. For example, you see a girl parading around in clubs with a dress thats so short literally half her ass is showing, and she's either dancing on stage, grinding on some guy and most likely drunk off her face, what would be your first assumption ?
Yeah sure, going out clubbing and partying is about having fun, but I am pretty sure you can have fun without having to stride that low. Its a self respect thing, if you want respect from other people, and stop other people from labelling you, you got to respect yourself first, and respect the way how you present yourself.
Call me old fashion, but if being "trendy" and "in fashion" means I have to walk around acting like a trashy drunk whore, I rather be labelled as old fashion.
